LauraLynn welcomed Alex Mancini to deliver an inspiring Masterclass on Neonatal Palliative Care.

Alex is the Pan London Lead Nurse for Neonatal Palliative Care, Chelsea & Westminster Foundation Trust & the True Colours Trust.

She shared her experiences of developing services in London and highlighted the ways we can work together to support and promote Neonatal Palliative Care in Ireland.

Key Messages:

  • Collaboration and team work essential
  • Link services together to support families
  • Coordinate care and develop robust pathways
  • Support and upskill professionals
  • Centralised and accessible information

It was wonderful to welcome to LauraLynn so many of our partners who provide palliative care support for these neonates and their families and hope that Alex’s session will inspire us to seek change in addressing the management and support services for neonatal care especially in the palliative phase of their journey.
