Caring for yourself over Christmas
Christmas can be unbearably difficult when a child has died. While others are busy preparing and celebrating, for families who are grieving, the time can be associated with feelings of sadness and isolation.
Especially in the early years of bereavement, families may wonder how they will survive their grief and face a new year. Not surprisingly, it is normal for parents to feel they just want to ’cancel’ Christmas.
