Flora Women’s Mini Marathon

We are absolutely thrilled with the response this year, with over 1,000 lovely ladies taking part in this year’s Flora Women’s Mini Marathon for LauraLynn.. EVERY STEP makes a difference to helping us provide services for children with life-limiting conditions & their families. We receive no additional funding for our hospice services, which is why events like this are vital to raise much-needed funds.
- Step 1: Register with Team LauraLynn for your sponsorship pack. Unfortuantely we cannpt guarantee postage by the weekend, so if you’d like to join us please email your name / address / tshirt size to firstname.lastname@example.org and we will have your pack for collection from The Shelbourne Hotel from 11.30am on Monday 2nd June.
- Step 2: You should have already registered for your race number with Flora Women’s Mini Marathon – for information on race number collections please check out the Mini Marathon website or contact their office directly on ph: 01 2930984. (Please note you cannot take part in the race without a race number)
If you’ve signed up to Team LauraLynn, by now you should receive a LauraLynn pack containing the following:
- Cotton T-shirt or sleeveless Running Vest (Walkers receive cotton tshirts, Runners/joggers receive sleeveless technical vests)
- Sponsorship Card(s)
- Training Tips
If you haven’t received this yet please email email@example.com asap to let us know & we can arrange a pack for collection.
We’ll have our usual pre & post race celebrations at The Shelbourne Hotel – right beside the start & finish lines. Bathrooms, cloakroom facilities & refreshments (while stocks last) available for all our Mini Marathon ladies from 11.30am until 4.30pm.
On the Day:
11.30am Arrival at The Shelbourne Hotel
12.30pm Warm Up kindly provided by the team at Kickstart Fitness
12.45pm Group Photos
2.00pm Race Starts! Afterwards head back to The Shelbourne for well-earned refreshments & surprise treats. Kindly supported by The Fruit People, Paddy O’s Granola, & Coca-Cola HBC Ireland(while stock lasts)
4.00pm Complimentary Raffle for supporters.

After the Day:
Send us your funds raised – cheque, postal order or bank draft to LauraLynn Children’s Hospice, Leopardstown Road, Foxrock, Dublin 18 along with a brief cover note. Or lodge direct to our bank account: AIB Sandyford, IBAN: IE86 AIBK 9335 7003 2206 23 Swift/Bic No: AIBKIE2D – but please use your name & Mini Marathon as reference so we know who it’s from & can send your receipt and enter you in the Holiday Draw.
Everyone with their funds in by Monday 23rd June will be entered into a draw to win a €1,000 Holiday Voucher (winner announced on Friday 27th June on our Facebook page) We’ll also have prizes for most funds raised – check out our top tips to maximise your fundraising.
