RECYCLE FOR GOOD

COLLECT YOUR OLD BATTERIES

AND HELP WEEE IRELAND BREAK THE €250,000 DONATION MARK FOR LAURALYNN

Did you know; Every single battery recycled in your company, in WEEE Ireland Blue battery boxes, could go towards a monetary donation from WEEE Ireland to LauraLynn, Ireland’s Children’s Hospice. LauraLynn provides palliative care and support for children with life-limiting conditions and their families. By simply encouraging your employees to recycle their portable waste batteries in the office, you can make a huge difference to these short and precious lives.

WEEE Ireland have been supporting LauraLynn through our battery recycling campaign for the last number of years, encouraging the public to recycle their waste batteries in blue battery boxes across the country. Every battery recycled goes towards a donation to LauraLynn. To date WEEE Ireland have raised a whopping €185,000 for Ireland’s only Children’s Hospice, LauraLynn.

WEEE Ireland are now calling on YOU to get involved, with your help we look forward to continuing our support for LauraLynn, by recycling as many waste batteries as possible we can make a BIG difference.

Bosco said “LauraLynn is an amazing place, but they get no money, so Bosco is trying to help raise awareness of the great work they do.  In a perfect world we wouldn’t have to do this, but they are only amazing. Bosco really wants to get the word out that this is a beautiful place, not a scary place for children.  Bosco loves going there and making the children smile. It really is a special place.”

The money raised will go towards the LauraLynn@HOME, providing hands-on respite care in the home by a team of dedicated LauraLynn nurses and health care assistants.
