Families Remember together
We hosted our Annual Memorial Service for families. During the ceremony using song, tributes and symbols as well as the spoken word, we came together to reflect and remember the children who died which we had supported. With the aid of new technology, we were also able to stream the Ceremony to a family who could not join us on the day.
Our newly formed LauraLynn choir, conducted by our Music Therapist Dee Gray; led the music and singing this year. Their rendition of the modern classic “Bridge Over Troubled Waters” was particularly poignant. The ceremony also featured readings and reflections and shared stories by bereaved parents. It was followed by a wreath laying ceremony in our Memorial Garden by a brother of one of the children who had passed.
Thank you to all who joined us and helped make this ceremony so special.
