Volunteers make an immense and invaluable contribution to the operation of LauraLynn. Our volunteers are involved at every level of the organisation, assisting in all departments.
Over the last number of years, our Volunteer Programme has steadily grown in size. We now have a strong and active team of over 150 Volunteers supporting LauraLynn in 12 roles across all departments. In 2018, we welcomed 50 new members to the team. The support has been incredible. Unfortunately this has meant that we are now in a position that we have very limited opportunities for new volunteers at the present time. We are now operating an expression of interest list. Recruitment will be on hold for the next number of months.
Before you can apply to become a volunteer with us in LauraLynn – we invite all applicants to attend a Volunteer Information Session. This session will give you the opportunity to hear more about the work we do and the volunteer roles available. As new projects are developed and new vacancies arise – we will contact everyone on the expression of interest list to invite you to an Information Session.
- All volunteer roles are non-clinical
- We ask for a minimum commitment of 12 months
- All volunteers must be over 18
- All volunteers are required to complete a training programme.
