LauraLynn delighted to be one of the beneficieries of The Rory Foundation at Irish Open
Rory McIlroy’s charitable trust, The Rory Foundation, today announced it will be supporting three Irish children’s charities as part of its Irish Open charity partnership – LauraLynn Ireland’s Children’s Hospice, Barretstown and The Jack and Jill Foundation.
Broadcaster Ray D’Arcy,along with retired sports stars; Gordon D’Arcy and John O’Leary were on hand with LauraLynn’s CEO, Sharon Morrow at the official launch in the K Club.
To mark the event Rory McIlroy will host an evening with Sir Alex Ferguson at the Convention Centre Dublin on Tuesday, May 17th.
The MC for the night is award-winning actor James Nesbitt who starred in Sky’s Lucky Man and The Hobbit. All ticket proceeds from the evening will go to The Rory Foundation. Tickets are available from www.aneveningwithrory.com
With just 50 days to go until the Dubai Duty Free Irish Open hosted by the Rory Foundation kicks off, tickets can be purchased from www.dubaidutyfreeirishopen.com or www.roryfoundation.com. The Dubai Duty Free Irish Open takes place at The K Club from the 19th to the 22nd of May and a percentage of tickets sold will go to the Rory Foundation.
The work of LauraLynn will be showcased at the Irish Open with a special customised cabin in the tented village of the Irish Open, inviting visitors to see some of the support it provides for children with life-limiting conditions and raise funds through some fun and engaging activities.
