The Children’s Sunshine Home, which will soon complete the build of LauraLynn House, offers support and care for children with life-limiting conditions and their families by providing high quality transitional care, home support, respite, crisis and end-of-life care.

 Director of Development

Following the successful completion of a major capital building project, the organisation has an ambitious vision for the expansion of its services. We are seeking a Director of Development capable of engaging and mobilising a broad base of support which will yield the required income growth to fund important new service objectives.

 Suitable candidates will have successful records of strategic leadership and proven performance of building and developing seven figure income levels. The chosen candidate will have the ability to inspire, develop and grow a team of people, both paid and voluntary, who contribute to the organisation. The Director will take a lead role in ensuring that The Children’s Sunshine Home and LauraLynn House are widely recognised and positioned as the leading community based children’s palliative & respite care service in Ireland.

 Key Requirements

• Strategic leadership ability

• Proven fundraising/revenue generation track record

• Broad marketing and communications skills and experience
