Our hands-on care team of experienced children’s nurses and healthcare assistants deliver Respite, Transitional, Crisis and End-of-life care and support to children with life-limiting conditions and their families in the family home.

Meet our team who are delivering care in the following regions:

Region 1:  Dublin Mid-Leinster will include South County Dublin, Wicklow, Kildare, Laois, Offaly, Longford and Westmeath

Region 2:  Dublin North East will include North County Dublin, Meath, Cavan, Louth and Monaghan

  • Terrie Clarke

    Terrie Clarke

    Team Leader

    Terrie Clarke qualified as a Registered General Nurse before undertaking a Dip. Higher Ed in child health at the Nightingale Institute of Nursing in London. She worked in the Evelina Children’s Hospital in Guys and St.Thomas Hospital.  On returning to Ireland, she completed the paediatric intensive care course and has worked at Our Lady’s Hospital for Sick Children Crumlin and in Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital, Drogheda. Terrie joined LauraLynn in 2014 and has since completed a Post Graduate Dip. in Palliative Care in NUI Galway in 2017 and 2 specialist practice modules in children’s complex and palliative care from NUI Galway and UCD.



  • Caroline Corrigan

    Staff Nurse

    Caroline qualified as a Registered General Nurse from Trinity College in 2002 and then completed a Bachelor Degree in Nursing in 2003. Having worked as a General Nurse in Tallaght Hospital and Australia, upon her return she completed a Higher Diploma in Children’s Nursing and qualified as a Registered Children’s Nurse in 2006. She then worked in Paediatric ICU in Temple Street and then for 8 years on an Infant Medical/Surgical ward in Crumlin Hospital. During this time she also qualified as an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant. She joined the LauraLynn@Home team in August 2016 and plans to undertake studies in the area of Paediatric Palliative Care.

  • Lucy Coy

    Lucy Coy

    Staff Nurse

    Lucy trained at Great Ormond Street Hospital for Children and qualified with a BsC honors degree in 2010. Lucy has a wide variety of experience working in paediatric inpatient settings including the emergency department and high dependency care, as well as working with children with complex health needs on a paediatric surgical and gastro ward. Lucy has always had an interest in paediatric palliative care and joined LauraLynn shortly after relocating to Ireland in 2015.

  • Carolyn Kyne

    Carolyn Kyne

    Staff Nurse

    Carolyn qualified in England as a Registered General Nurse. She has practiced in the UK and US in paediatric critical and cardiac critical care as a nurse and nurse manager, and was nurse coordinator of the pediatric critical care simulation programme. She graduated with a Master of Science in Nursing –Advanced Professional Practice in 2014 from Queens University. Carolyn is undertaking a Post Graduate Diploma in Palliative Care at NUI Galway and hopes to graduate in 2016.

  • Susan McDermott

    Susan McDermott

    Staff Nurse

    Susan qualified as a Registered General Nurse in 2002 and completed her BSc Nursing in 2003. She has experience in acute hospital care in Ireland and Australia, and completed a post graduate diploma in Wound Management and Tissue Viability from the RSCI in 2007. Susan began working with adults and children with complex care needs in the Central Remedial Clinic, Clontarf. She completed her higher diploma in children’s nursing through CUH, Temple Street in 2012. Susan joined LauraLynn@HOME in September 2015.

  • Lisa McGonigle

    Lisa McGonigle

    Staff Nurse

    Lisa qualified with a BSc honours degree in Childrens and General Nursing in Jan 2011. Lisa has worked in Our Lady’s Crumlin Hospital as a staff nurse in the areas of neo-natal cardiology, orthopaedics and GI wards for three years. Lisa then gained experience on surgical and medical wards in both Melbourne Children’s hospital and Princess Margaret hospital in Perth. She then worked in Great Ormond Street hospital in ICU for two years. Lisa joined the Lauralynn@home team in April 2017 and plans to pursue further education in paediatric palliative care.

  • Aisling Reilly

    Aisling Reilly

    Staff Nurse

    Aisling qualified as a registered nurse in Intellectual disability in 2002. Before completing her nursing degree in 2008 she worked as a children’s nurse at the Children’s University Hospital.  Aisling has experience working in Ireland and Australia in medical, surgical and A&E. Aisling joined LauraLynn in 2012 and completed her European Certificate in Essential Palliative Care in 2013. 


  • Fiona Rock

    Fiona Rock

    Healthcare Assistant

    Fiona has gained a vast amount of experience in the UK and Ireland. She has completed her FETAC level 5 in Healthcare and an additional module in Palliative Care. Fiona became part of the LauraLynn team in 2009 and has worked throughout the service. Fiona has experience in working with children who have suffered loss and bereavement and has a particular interest in sensory play.
