Celebrating all the little heroes who benefit from the support of LauraLynn, our gala evening raised much needed funds for the specialist palliative care LauraLynn provides to children with life-limiting conditions and their families.
€156,500 was the total sum raised which will help LauraLynn provide support from diagnosis to end of life and throughout bereavement with a range of practical, emotional and medical care for the whole family.
Almost 350 supporters attended the gala, including Heroes Ball corporate sponsors DCC and event sponsors Verve The Live Agency.
The night was filled with glamour as the who’s-who in Irish society came together in support of these little heroes. Guests gave generously throughout as they enjoyed an evening of entertainment with host and MC Alan Hughes.
A huge thank you goes to the donors of our amazing auction items, Ireland and Leinster player Garry Ringrose for his contribution and Perfect Day and Manilla Strings who provided some wonderful entertainment.
LauraLynn would also like to give a special mention to Christine and David Harmes, LauraLynn parents to Jack, for accompanying us at the Heroes Ball and for sharing their family story on the night.
From an exciting ‘balloon pop’, to surprise table prizes, donations and an eventful auction led by Alan Shortt, the night was definitely one to remember.
