We at LauraLynn, Ireland's Only Children's Hospice, are aware of some fraudulent fundraising in the West of Ireland, by a small group of individuals. The matter is being investigated by the Gardaí, with LauraLynn's full support.
LauraLynn takes every measure in supporting our fundraisers, while also protecting donors and the public. Robust systems are in place to verify legitimate collections and fundraisers and we encourage the public to be vigilant when they are giving to charities.
All verified and genuine LauraLynn fundraisers will happily present ID and a valid permit when asked, so our advice is to ask if you are unsure and contact us if you have any questions or concerns. You can also contact the Gardaí directly with your concerns.
