On a sunny 13th March 2025, LauraLynn, Ireland’s Children’s Hospice, hosted its annual St. Patrick’s Day Parade at its Leopardstown campus in Dublin. LauraLynn children, volunteers and staff took part in the parade, along with the amazing performers and contributors.

IrelandAM presenter Alan Hughes led the parade as Parade Grand Marshall with the Clondalkin Youth Marching Band, directed by Neal Christopher, setting the rhythm. Cathy and Dogs for the Disabled provided a unique contribution, giving everyone an opportunity for some puppy time. Superheros Batman, Super Woman and Cyclops even made an appearance along with some local heros the Naomh Olaf U12 Boys GAA Club and Kilmacud Crokes U12 Girls GAA Club.

LauraLynn staff and their children led the floats, which were kindly donated by BuggyMan. Of course, a St. Patrick’s Day parade wouldn’t be complete without a vintage car section and our special LauraLynn cars were driven by our wonderful staff.

Premier Face Paint Ireland helped everyone get into the St. Patrick’s Day spirit with their incredible face-painting skills and Brother Bean Coffee kept us all energised with treats.

Vibrant color guard flags add a splash of colour to LauraLynn’s St. Patrick’s Day Parade.

Behind the scenes, LauraLynn’s Event and Activity Coordinators, Nursing Staff, volunteers, and Transition Year students worked tirelessly to prepare participants and decorate the campus, while the Facilities Team ensured the parade route was safe and ready.

A huge LauraLynn thank you to everyone who made the parade a success. We hope everyone enjoyed themselves.
