LauraLynn, Ireland’s Children’s Hospice is thrilled to have been chosen as a beneficiary of funding from The Late Late Toy Show Appeal and will receive €40,000 in funds to go towards the expansion of LauraLynn’s Community Service in the West.
Welcoming the news, LauraLynn CEO, Kerry McLaverty said: "LauraLynn is so grateful to be chosen for funding as part of the Toy Show Appeal. We wish to extend a huge thank you to The Late Late Show team and to the generosity of the Irish public and Late Late Toy Show viewers without whom this would not be possible. The team at the Late Late Show have always been such wonderful supporters of ours and the Toy Show team have made dreams come true for so many children in our service who got the opportunity over the years to feature on the Toy Show. This funding comes at a very exciting time for LauraLynn as we continue to extend our community of care, reaching more children with life-limiting conditions and their families across Ireland than ever before.’’
The RTÉ Toy Show Appeal has raised over €21million for children’s charities across the island of Ireland to date.
The Late Late Toy Show Appeal is being administered by The Community Foundation for Ireland.
