Sporting Proud Triathlon Supporting LauraLynn
LauraLynn Ireland’s Children’s Hospice is thrilled the Sporting Proud Triathlon is going ahead in 2022.
After two years of lockdowns and virtual events, we are excited to bring our supporters together for an in-person event with lots of fun!
Join us at Brittas Bay, Co Wicklow for this rewarding personal challenge or the ultimate fun team builder – it is not to be missed. Brave the waves, the roads and the saddles and then relax at the celebratory BBQ. All while raising funds to help children with life-limiting conditions and their families.
The event is suitable for all fitness levels and is Sprint Distance only this year (750m swim, 20km cycle and 5km run). Take on the full triathlon as individuals; or in teams of two or three, doing one or more legs each. And don’t worry if you are short on swimmers some double tagging is allowed! Registration & Fundraising
We encourage you to raise as much as possible but a minimum level of fundraising is required from all entrants to take part. All funds raised will help provide palliative care for children with life-limiting conditions and supports for their families at Ireland’s ONLY Children’s Hospice.
Some companies / CSR Committees are prepared to pay the registration fees if participants commit to do the rest of the fundraising – so check that option out! Or undertake some staff fundraising to get everyone in the office involved - such as a bake sale or a car wash!
Companies can request an invoice for Registration Fees. Your Registration Fee is included in your fundraising total and covers entrance to the race, T-shirt and swim cap and the BBQ.
Individual entrants pledge to raise a minimum of €250 (an initial €100 is payable on registration and an additional €150 to be raised and paid on or before 31st August 2022).
Teams pledge to raise a combined minimum of €600 (an initial €300 is payable on registration and an additional €300 to be raised and paid on or before 31st August 2022).
