LauraLynn has partnered with Dun Laoghaire Rathdown County Council on an online art project that explores the experiences of parents whose children avail of LauraLynn Children’s Hospice.

Artist John Conway is working with LauraLynn families to explore the 'Moments that Matter' to them as parents in order to create artworks with and for the parents who take part.

This project aims to show the beauty and connection within everyday moments in the lives of the families that use LauraLynn’s services. The artworks that result from this project are intended as a celebratory tribute to the children of participating parents.

John is a visual artist who works extensively in health settings. His art making process often involves chats over tea and biscuits as a way of connecting with and learning more about the experiences of the communities he works with. John has been connecting in with LauraLynn families on this project which has been an enjoyable process so far for both John and those involved.

LauraLynn are honoured to have the opportunity to work with John on this special project and we look forward to seeing the finished pieces
