To mark International Thank You Day on Wednesday 10th January, LauraLynn is kicking off its annual Thank You Week Campaign.
Every year LauraLynn dedicates this week to showing appreciation and gratitude to all those who support the work of Ireland’s only Children’s Hospice. Your support ensures the children and families who rely on our services do not feel alone on their difficult journey.
LauraLynn would not exist without the incredible support of the Irish public and your continued support helps make every day better for the children and families across Ireland who rely on our specialised care and supports. 2023 was a busy year for LauraLynn as we supported more children and families than ever before.
We particularly want to thank all of those who supported us throughout 2023 which was a year of more growth for our services as we extended our reach from our Mallow-based community service to reach families across Limerick and we also established a new community team base in Ballinasloe which will start providing community care to children and families across the West, Midlands and North-West of the country from early 2024.
During 2023, you and stars like you across the country took on many challenges to raise funds for us including cutting 182 metres of hair as part of Locks of Love and walking, jogging and running over 2,080,846,765 steps! By taking part in fundraisers like this, you help LauraLynn to care for the child and support the whole family too.
With such wonderful star supporters and donors, we look forward to the year ahead providing specialist care and supports to children with life-limiting conditions and their families across Ireland.
