Every year LauraLynn dedicates this week to showing appreciation and gratitude to all those who support the work of Ireland’s only Children’s Hospice. Your support ensures the children and families who rely on our services do not feel alone on their difficult journey.
LauraLynn would not exist without the incredible support of the Irish public and your continued support helps make every day better for the children and families across Ireland who rely on our specialised care and supports. 2022 was our biggest year to date, we supported more children and families than ever before and seen a 100% increase in referrals to our service.
We particularly want to thank all of those who supported us throughout 2022 which was a momentous year for our services as we expanded our community of care with the opening of our community-based service in Cork which is bringing care and support into the homes of children and families across the Cork and Kerry areas.
During 2022, you and people like you across the country took on many challenges to raise funds for us including cutting 645 metres of hair as part of Locks of Love and walking over 3 million steps! By taking part in fundraisers like this, you help families live the ‘Little Moments’ and for families with a child whose time is limited, there is no greater gift.
With such wonderful supporters and donors, we look forward to the year ahead providing specialist care and supports to children with life-limiting conditions and their families across Ireland.
