The LauraLynn annual Heroes Ball takes place on Saturday March 2nd at The Round Room in the Mansion House, Dublin 2. Now in its 7th year the night has become known as the most exciting Charity Ball in the calendar. With a wonderful gala dinner, exhilarating entertainment, and exceptionable auction prizes, it truly is a night not to be missed.
Speaking at the launch of the LauraLynn Heroes Ball, Miriam O’Callaghan said; “It is such a pleasure every year for me to be involved at this amazing event as MC. I just love getting to come together with so many supporters while celebrating and fundraising for the amazing work that LauraLynn do caring for children with life-limiting conditions and supporting their families.”
LauraLynn patron Miriam O’Callaghan will take to the stage as MC for the night and the amazing Shay Byrne will oversee the charity auction on the evening.
Shay Byrne added; “I am delighted to host the auction at the LauraLynn Heroes Ball this year. It is the first year I have been involved in the Heroes Ball and I very much look forward to hosting what will be a very successful element on the night. LauraLynn rely heavily on fundraised income to keep their essential services going so I am so honoured to be a small part in that for such a wonderful cause”.
LauraLynn care is provided free of charge for children and families. Relying primarily on fundraised income to fund its hospice services, the Heroes Ball is a key date in the fundraising calendar for LauraLynn.
Since opening in 2011, LauraLynn has cared for over 740 children and their families. LauraLynn provides holistic care to each child which enables them to make the most of every day. This care also extends to the family of each child who are often dealing with difficult emotional, physical and financial pressures.
