The partnership between Thorntons Recycling and LauraLynn reached a significant milestone recently when fundraising donations broke the €100,000 mark. An incredible €104,976 has been donated to help provide vital hospice services to children and families since our partnership began in 2018. The generosity of the company, its customers and staff has made a big difference for children with life-limiting conditions and their families over the last four years.
Their generosity has not stopped there either. Thorntons have been providing waste management services to LauraLynn free of charge throughout the partnership. This amounts to further support with a value of over €15,000 and rising. We are extremely grateful for this extra gift - it means more resources are available for the delivery of care and services.
As LauraLynn marks its 10th Anniversary, Thorntons Recycling has committed to continuing this special partnership. We are excited to keep working with them into the next phase of LauraLynn’s development.
Due to current Covid-19 restrictions, Thorntons staff were not able to come inside for a photo, but they continue to help make LauraLynn the very special place it is.
